Amos Larson

Forest City - Amos F. Larson, 66, died Saturday in a Forest City Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Olson Funeral Home, Forest City, is in charge.

Amos Larson

Forest City - Funeral services for Amos F. Larson, 66, an auditor for Carroll George Inc., at Northwood, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City.

He was born May 9, 1901 at Miller, to Peter and Ida Larson.

Survivors include his wife Myrtle, two sons, Roger, Bettendorf, and Gerald, Forest City; four daughters, Shirley, Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Shoffner, Prairie Village, Kan., Mrs. Richard (Mary Ann) Gorvall, Newton, and Mrs. Gary (Penelope) Johnson, Cedar Falls; three brothers, Hilreth, Chicago, Ill., Clifford, Garner, and Perry, Pittsburgh, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Mabel) Johnson, Forest City, and Mrs. Charles (Hazel) Bankroff, Ventura; twelve grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Burial will be in Ellington Prairie Cemetery, north of Garner. The Olson Funeral Home, Forest City is in charge of arrangements.
