Garner - Alfred C. Jurgenson, 71, died Tuesday night at Forest City Hospital. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at First Methodist Church here. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home in charge.

The son of Fred and Lena Juhl Jurgenson, he was born in Ellington Township Sept. 22, 1894. He was married March 30, 1916, to Carrie Bradie. In 1930 they moved to Garner where he was in the oil business. His wife died in 1956.

July 19, 1958, he was married to Andrea Bergen.

Surviving are his wife, Andrea; a daughter, Veletta Schlei, Garner; a son Verle, Waterloo; his mother, Everett, Wash.; two sisters, Clara Last, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Ben (Martha) Reibe, Everett, and two grandsons.
