Mrs. Walter Gordon

Britt - Mrs. Walter (Lela Esther) Gordon, 65, died of a heart attack at her home here Tuesday. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church at Britt. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. at Boughton Funeral Home.

The daughter of Martin and Victoria Cardin Friedow, she was born at Britt Jan. 9, 1902. She was married Feb. 22, 1922, to Walter Gordon. They farmed in Crystal Lake Woden area until moving to Britt. He died in 1961.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Inez) Kloster, Britt; a son, Charles, Clear Lake; three grandchildren, two brothers, Clifford Friedow, Fontana, Calif.; Clarence Friedow, Bellflower, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Hazel) Hesley, Compton, Calif., Mrs. Frank (Vera) Munson, Albany, Ore. A son Russell, died in 1933.
