Mrs. Earl M. Ferleman dies at 70
Mrs. Earl M. (Lela) Ferleman, 70, died Wednesday morning in a Mason City nursing home. She had lived in Mason City 47 years and made her home at 7 S. Louisiana.
Mrs. Ferleman was born March 5, 1896, at Klemme, daughter of Myron and Etta (Webner) Haskin. She was married to Earl N. Ferleman, Sept. 30, 1912, in Minneapolis, Minn.
Surviving are her husband, Earl M. Ferleman; a son, Earl M. Ferleman Jr., Redwood, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Harlan (Dorothy) Proctor, Sacramento, Calif,; Mrs. Gregg (Opal) Arnold, Garner, and Mrs. Carl (Thora) Draper, Mason City; three grandchildren and a great grand daughter.
A brother, Webner Haskin, Missoula, Mont., and three sisters, Mrs. Anton (Nettie) Pankuk, Garner; Mrs. Floyd (Lola) Sherman, Brookings, S. D., and Mrs. Emil (Beulah) Rekow, Garner, also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother in infancy.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Visitation at the Patterson James Chapel will be after 7 p.m. Thursday.
