Mrs. John Crone

Britt - Funeral services for Mrs. John (Nora) Crone, 86, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church. The Rev. Howard Eldrenkamp will officiate. Burial will be in Bingham Township Cemetery at Woden. Six grandsons will be casket bearers. A prayer service for the family will be held at Boughton Funeral Home preceding the church service.

Mrs. Crone died Saturday at Hancock County Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born Oct. 13, 1893, at Mitchell, the daughter of Myron and Miriam Spalding Aldrich. She was married Nov 29, 1908, to John Crone. They farmed in the Woden community all their married life. He died Nov. 25, 1943.

Surviving are three sons, Alfred, Burlington; Wilber and Dean, both of Woden; a daughter, Mrs. Naaman (Esther) Seefeld, Wesley; 16 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Albert, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Page.
