Riemer Rites Are Conducted

Services Are Held in Methodist Church for Hancock Man

Garner - Funeral rites for Albert C. W. Riemer, 83, a resident of Hancock county for nearly 50 years, who died Friday at a Mason City nursing home, were held Sunday afternoon at the Garner Methodist church in charge of the Rev. H. Milo Hall.

The body was taken to the Liberty township cemetery for burial. Carl W. Bohn directed arrangements.

Pall bearers were Will Krause, Fred Blackstone, Will Gast, Art Kluckhohn, George Lawhorn and Fred Steiff. Mr. Riemer was born in Pommer, Germany, June, 1857, and came to America when he was 24 years of age and after he had completed his three years of training in the German army.
