Sweers Services to Be Held in Britt

BRITT - Funeral services will be held Saturday for John Sweers, 50, at 1:30 o'clock at the home, 2 1/2 miles west and 2 1/2 miles south of Britt, and at 2 o'clock at the Britt Methodist church. The Rev. A. R. Larson will preach the funeral sermon, assisted by the Rev. O. O. Hobson of Stilson. Burial will be in Britt Evergreen cemetery.

John Sweers was born Feb. 27, 1892, at Aplington, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sweers. He came to the farm where he was living at the time of his death when a small child. He was married to Sena Smidt.

Surviving are his widow and eight children. Carrie, Lucille, Jacob, Louis, Benny, Elmer, Herman and Jeanette, all at home. Also surviving are one brother, Herman of Britt; three sisters, Mrs. John Brower of Britt, Mrs. Joe Leerar, Stilson, and Mrs. Walter Smidt of Laurel, Mont., and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sweers of Britt.
