AGED BRITT MAN DIES AT HOME
Jacob Sorenson, 65, Will Be Buried in Evergreen Cemetery
BRITT, Sept. 25 - Jacob P. Sorensen, 65, died Monday at the home of his son, Andrew Sorensen after lingering illness. Mr. Sorensen was born in Denmark.
He was a worker on the railroad for many years and then turned to farming. In 1928 Mr. and Mrs. Sorensen broke up housekeeping on account of Mr. Sorensen's health and came to Iowa from North Dakota to live with his children at Britt.
Mr. Sorensen leaves his wife, Mrs. Sorensen, three daughters, Minnie Sorensen of Mason City, Mrs. Edward Messilheiser of Britt, and Mrs. Rose Hauffmen of Menominee, Mich.; two sons, Andrew and Fred both of Britt, one brother, Lars Sorensen of Lastwood, N. D. and a sister who is still in Denmark.
Funeral services will be held at the home of Andrew Sorensen Thursday at 2:30 with the Rev. O. Thompson of Buffalo Center in charge. Burial will be made in the Evergreen cemetery.
