Henrietta Shepley

WILLIAMS: Henrietta Shepley, 96, of Williams, died Saturday (Aug. 31, 1991) at Grinnell General Hospital, Grinnell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Williams with the Rev. Anita Bane officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, Garner.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Surls Funeral Chapel in Williams.

The family requests memorials be given to United Methodist Church in Williams.

Henrietta Shepley was born Nov. 30, 1894, in Grundy County, the daughter of John and Margaret (Sellhorn) Friesenborg.

She married Gus Magnussen and Dave Molloch and later married Harold Shepley on June 3, 1935.

Survivors include three daughters, Elsie Crilly of Peoria, Ill., Irene Faust of Rogers, Ark., Clara Belle Fink of Montezuma; one son, John Magnussen, Wyoming, Ill.; two half sisters, Irma Michaelson of Forest City, Esther Stroebel of Danvers, Minn.; one sister, Mabel Cawley of Des Moines; 13 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, Gus Magnussen in 1920, Dave Molloch in 1931 and Harold Shepley in 1959, five brothers and one sister.
