Woden Boy Is Iowa's 23rd Flu Victim

A 6 year old Woden boy, Larry Nyman, Friday became Iowa's seventh flu victim within 24 hours and the 23rd of the current epidemic.

Larry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nyman, was taken to a Forest City hospital and died an hour after admittance.

The boy had a delicate heart operation at Rochester, Minn., last March.

Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters, Janice, 7, and Nancy Ann, 3; and a brother, Randy,1.

Funeral services will be at the Woden Methodist Church Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. S. W. Shreve will conduct the service.

Burial will be in Bingham Township Cemetery with Hanson Funeral Home of Forest City in charge of arrangements.
