Mrs. Lillian Miller, 86

Services for Mrs. Lillian Miller, 86, of Garner, who died Friday at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City were held 2 p.m., Mon., Nov. 22 at the United Presbyterian Church in Garner with Rev. David C. Orrison as officiant. Mrs. Berneace Cataldo served as organist.

Casketbearers were Clarke Pollock, N. E. Brear, Herb Irving, Walter Edelen, Warren Quintus and Harlan Johnson. Burial was in Concord Township Cemetery at Garner. The Cataldo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lillian Marie Miller, the daughter of Paul and Lorraine (Olson) Frost was born March 18, 1896 at Clarks Grove, Minn. where she also attended the rural schools. She worked at Albert Lea, Minn. before her marriage to Dwight Miller, Aug. 29, 1916 at Albert Lea.

They lived in Lake Mills until 1929, when they moved to Garner where they resided their entire married life. She had lived at Prairie View Apartments for several years. The past six months she had been at the Manly Care Center due to ill health.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the U.P.W.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Pearl) Hogen of Kensett: a grand daughter, Mrs. David (Kay) Clark of Plymouth and a great grandson, Bryan Clark of Plymouth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight "Pop" Miller, in February of 1969; her parents; and three sisters, Mrs. Hans (Adena) Olson, Mrs. Walter (Emma) Nelson and Mrs. John Jacobson.
