Hiese Services to Be Conducted Sunday at Church in Corwith

CORWITH - Mrs. Minnie Hiese, a pioneer resident of Corwith, died at her home early Friday morning.

Minnie Hartwig was born in Germany and came to America with her parents at the age of 2 years, settling at Madison, Wis. They later moved to St. Ansgar, where she lived until her marriage at August Hiese in 1879. The young couple moved to a farm adjoining Corwith, where she made her home until her death. Two children: John and Ollie, survive.

Funeral services will be held in the Methodist church in Corwith at 2 p.m. Sunday and interment will be in the Corwith cemetery.
