Clifford Riehm dies following heart attack
GARNER: Funeral services for Clifford M. Riehm, 62, Garner, prominent Hancock County farmer, will be held at the Methodist Church in Hayfield Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Walter B. Phelps will officiate. Interment will be in the Madison Township Cemetery, Forest City, with the Bohn Funeral Home of Garner in charge.
The body will lie in state at the church in Hayfield from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service. Riehm died suddenly Saturday forenoon at the Bush Garage in Hayfield from a heart attack.
The son of Gottlob and Sarah Riehm, he was born on a farm in Garfield Township April 23, 1899, and lived his entire life in this community.
Surviving are his wife, Cleone, and a daughter, Lois; two sisters, Mrs. William (Pearl) Brozik, Garner and Mrs. Nicholas (Kate) DeWilde, Mason City.
