Britt barber succumbs to heart attack

BRITT: William A. Minor, 78, a barber here 62 years, died of a heart attack at his home Friday. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Boughton Funeral Home. The Rev. Warren S. Paige will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Born Dec. 26, 1882, at Oakland, Ill., he was the son of George and Milinda Willison Minor. He came to Britt in 1896. Nov. 29, 1916, he was married to Leta Foster.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Virginia) Wolford, Britt; two sons, Paul and Carson, two grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Tom Walter, and brother Lawrence, both of Terre Haute, Ind., and a brother, Charles, Oakland, Ill.
