Mrs. Leo Clark dies at Britt; Rites Saturday

BRITT: Mrs. Leo Clark, 64, died at her home here Thursday following an illness of several years. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church here with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Fr. Justin A. Kane will officiate. Boughton Funeral Home is in charge.

Virginia Fay, daughter of Charles F. and Mary Mitchell Castle, was born at Britt, Jan. 21, 1897. She was graduated from Britt High School and taught school before her marriage, Dec. 28, 1921.

Surviving are her husband, a son, Leo Jr., Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Lester (Lois) Gayken, Britt.; Mrs. William (Mary Jane) Rains, Phoenix, Ariz,; nine grandchildren, a twin sister, Mrs. William (May) Hughes, Britt. She was preceded in death by a son, Maurice, and a brother, George.
