Shirley Love

CLARION: Mrs. Raymond (Shirley) Love, 79, of Clarion, died Tuesday (Aug 26. 1986) at a Rochester, Minn., hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Presbyterian Church, Clarion, with the Rev. John Mann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt, with graveside services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Visitation is after 2 p.m. today at Eyler Willim Funeral Home, Clarion.

She was born Sept. 10, 1906, in Kanawha to John and Marie (Engelschred) Lewis. She graduated from Kanawha High School and Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls. She taught at Rowan and Wesley. She married Raymond Love on Jan. 2, 1932, in South Dakota. They lived in Britt, Garner, Oelwein and in 1972 retired to Clarion.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and Adah Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband Raymond, Clarion; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Gray, Winnetka, Ill.; one son, Roger, Boulder, Colo.; six grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. J.H. (Caroline) Eyler, Clarion.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
