Peter Leuwerke

BRITT: Peter Leuwerke, 84, of Britt, died Wednesday (Nov. 24, 1982) in a Kanawha nursing home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Britt Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Vernon Vander Top and the Rev. Burt DenHerder will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

Visitation is after noon today Ewing Funeral Home, Britt, and at the church before services.

Mr. Leuwerke was a longtime farmer in Britt and Crystal Lake, retiring in 1961 and moving to Britt.

He is survived by two sons, Pete K. and Curtis, both of Garner; a daughter, Mrs. Billy (Grace) Schuver, Kanawha; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Two brothers, John, of Longmont, Colo., and Lewis, Mason City, and three sisters, Mrs. Gertie Klien, Mrs. Stientje Van Meekeren and Mrs. Johanne Van Wyngeeren, all of Hollandale, Minn.
