Curtis Leuwerke

JOICE: Curtis Leuwerke, 63, of Joice, died Thursday (July 23, 1998) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, Forest City, with the Rev. Robert Snitzer officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Ewing Funeral Chapel, Britt, and one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.

Curtis Leuwerke was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Crystal Township.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Leuwerke, of Joice; one daughter, Kathlene Price, of Forest City; two sons, Danny Leuwerke, of Thompson, and Paul Leuwerke, of Joice; nine grandchildren; one sister, Grace Schuver, of Kanawha; and one brother, Pete Leuwerke, of Crystal Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
