William Hampel's
services Thurs.

Funeral services for William (Bill) John Hampel, 90, of Clear Lake, will be conducted on Thursday, March 13, at 11 a.m. from the Osthus James Chapel of Clear Lake. The Rev. Kenneth Ubbelohde of the Congregational church, Clear Lake, will officiate.

Mr. Hampel died on Sunday, March 9, at a Clear Lake nursing home. He was a retired farmer; he farmed in the Garner area for many years.

Burial will be in the Klemme cemetery where they have a family lot.

Mr. Hampel is survived by his wife, Bessie; his son, Arnold Hampel, Clear Lake; and by five daughters; Mildred, Mrs. Richard Ax, Ventura; Dorothy, Mrs. John Foster, Waseca, Minn.; Winnifred, Mrs. Robert Pritchard, Osage; Shirley, Mrs. Lawrence Hueburger, Reno, Nevada; Beverly, Mrs. Earl Hyde, Clear Lake. He also has 20 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Earl.
