Fred C. Olthoff

KLEMME — Funeral services for Fred C. Olthoff, 46, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ in Klemme. The Rev. George Behrens will officiate. Johnston Funeral Home of Klemme will be in charge. Burial will be in Klemme Cemetery.

He died Wednesday night at the Belmond Community Hospital following a heart attack.

Born Feb. 25, 1919, at Kanawha, he was a lifetime resident of Hancock County. He was a veteran of World War II and farmed in the Klemme area.

He was married to Gladys Griffen in 1944.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Katherine) Seller, Clear Lake; Eileen, at home; a son, Verlyn at home; his mother, Mrs. Anna Olthoff, Kanawha; three brothers, John and Erick, Mason City; Raymond, Britt; four sisters, Mrs. Elery Ziegler, Mason City; Mrs. Etta Goodrich, Mrs. Carl Johnson and Mrs. Galen Berhow all of Kanawha.
