Betty L. Ford

BRITT — Betty L. Ford, 71, died Thursday (April 27, 1995) at Hancock County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Cataldo Funeral Home, with the Rev. James A. Mattson of First Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Betty Lou Ford was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Saginaw, Mich.

Survivors include six daughters, Violet May Stangland of Columbia Heights, Minn.; Lila M. Tegtmeyer of Britt; Victoria Jane Owens of Lake City, Minn.; Larene Marie Johnson of St. Paul, Minn.; Julia Eve Isaacs of Fridley, Minn., and June Alice Anderson of Alexandria, Minn.; one son, Charles Andrew Ford of Backus, Minn.; 29 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson.
