Walter Brooks

BRITT - Walter Brooks, 69, Britt, died Sunday at Hancock County Memorial Hospital. He was a Britt area farmer.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Britt, the Rev. Howard Elldrenkamp officiating, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from Monday evening until Wednesday noon at the Carter Funeral Home, Britt.

He is survived by his wife, Frances; three daughters, Mrs. Warren (Phyllis) Smidt, Woden; Mrs. Dale (Colleen) Cameron, Algona; and Janice, Algona; two sons, Jim and Dean, Britt; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Perkins, Britt; one brother, Charles, Kanawha; and six grandchildren.
