ABSTRACTED OBITUARY from Forest City Summit, Aug. 20, 1959

Arlene [Arline] Elizabeth Klasse, 36, died Aug. 12 at Des Moines following a 41 foot fall over a bannister at the Manhatten hotel where she had lived for 7 years.

Born in New York May 6, 1923, the daughter of Max and Minnie Klasse. For 18 years she lived and worked in Keokuk and Des Moines.

Survived by her mother, Mrs. Minnie Klasse of Cedar Falls, 3 brothers, Gerhardt of Knapp, Wis., Herbert of Titonka and Clarence of Forest City.
