ABSTRACTED OBITUARY from Forest City Summit, Dec. 24, 1959

Mrs. Paulina Steinmetz, 71 died Friday in Mason City.

Paulina Erickson was born Jan. 23, 1888 at Roland, the daughter of Thor and Anna Erickson. Baptized and confirmed as a youth at Westby, Wis. Married Sept. 7, 1914 to Clayton Steinmetz at LaFarge, Wis. In 1917 moved to Madison township and 1938 they moved to Mt. Valley township.

Survived by her husband, a son, Merle of Forest City, 2 grandchildren, Terry and Paulette Steinmetz; a brother, Erick Erickson of LaFarge, Wis., 2 sisters, Mrs. Anna Gronsund of Viroqua, Wis. and Mrs. Ernest Steinmetz of LaFarge, Wis.

Preceded by her parents and an infant daughter.

Services at Immanuel Lutheran church with burial in Madison cemetery.
