ABSTRACTED OBITUARY from Forest City Summit, Jan. 15, 1959

Katherine Eliza King died Jan. 6 at her farm home south of Forest City where she had lived 78 years.

She was born in 1867 in Fayette county, the daughter of Benjamin and Virginia King. Moved with her parents to the Forest City area in Sept. of 1869 by covered wagon.

Survived by a brother, Plumb. Preceded by her parents and 2 sisters.

Services at Hanson funeral home with burial in Madison township cemetery.
