ABSTRACTED OBITUARY from Forest City Summit, Apr. 13, 1961

Laurice Larson, 85, lifetime resident of Crystal Lake died Fri. at Crystal Lake.

Born Nov. 7, 1875 in Buffalo Grove, son of Martin and Karen Madsen Larson.

Married on Oct. 14, 1903 to Cora Ozmun and lived near Crystal Lake.

Surviving are 4 daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Gladys) Nelson of Racine, Wis., Mrs. Ralph (Carice) Schuman of Union Grove, Wis.; Mrs. Vesta Hunsley of Crystal Lake, Mrs. Richard (Naomi) Larson of Forest City, a son, Morton of Britt; 3 brothers, William Larson of Britt, Morton Larson of Britt, Jim Larson of North Sacramento, Calif. 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary Nelson of Crystal Lake, Mrs. Olga Jensen of Crystal Lake and Mrs. P. A. (Annie) Hansen of Britt; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

Preceded by a daughter, Maude, a brother, August and his wife, Cora, March 17, 1960.

Services at Upper Flat Evangelical church with burial in Crystal Lake cemetery.
