Services for Larry E. Fox, who died Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Americana Healthcare Center in Mason City where he has been a resident since Sept. 9, 1985, were held Monday, Oct. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Britt with Rev. J. Larry Vallery and Rev. Paul Adix officiating.

Music was provided by organist Ruby Hodson and soloist Kathy Huisinga. Ushers were Gilbert Guenther and Robert Hiscocks, Jr.

Honorary casket bearers were Ed Lansberg, Jr., Frank Whetstone, C.R. Hesley, Dean Weiland, Milbern Rapp and Kenneth Holck.

Active casket bearers were Clair Peterson, Joe Appelhons, Merrill L. Olson, Alan D. Perkins, Duane Francis and Terry Goepel. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt, with military graveside services conducted by the Britt American Legion Post No. 315.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters: Kathy and her husband Bob Huisinga of Apple Valley, Minn.; Karen and her husband Daryl Brunsen of Crystal Lake; a son Gary and his wife Sandy Fox of Mason City; seven grandchildren: Tammy, Brent and Angie Huisinga; Sheila and Eric Brunsen; Jason and Jennifer Fox; one brother, Lewis and his wife, Mary Fox of Britt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant sisters: Sharon and Phyllis; and one brother, Lyle.
