Charles Nedved, 81, Duncan, dies

Duncan - A Requiem Mass will be offered Thursday at 10 a.m. for Charles Nedved, 81, resident of this community who died Tuesday at a Mason City hospital. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. W. Hradecky will officiate at the service in St. Wenceslaus Church here. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Duncan. The Bohn Funeral Home , Garner, is in charge of arrangements. The parish Rosary will be recited a the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Mr. Nedved was born Feb. 2, 1882, the son of John and Mary Nedved. On Nov. 27, 1906, he married Lena Chizek in St. Wenceslaus Church. He is survived by three sons, George, Charles and Rudy, Garner, and two daughters, Mrs. Tony (Lula) Trca, Garner, and Mrs. Earl (Marcella) Erdman, Garner. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son.
