Mrs. Addie Massion 64, Corwith Resident 24 Year Succumbs
Corwith - Mrs. Addie Massion, 64, resident of this community for 24 years, died at her home in Corwith Tuesday morning following a short illness of pneumonia. She is survived by a son, Howard B. and three grand daughters of Corwith, three sisters and three brothers.
Mrs. Massion was a member of the Christian church, Hawthorne camp, Royal Neighbors of America and the D.Y.T club.
Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon in charge of the Rev. Karl W. G. Hiller, pastor of the Methodist church. Burial will be made in the Corwith cemetery.

Rites Held For Mrs. A. Massion
Corwith Woman, 64, Moved Into Vicinity on Farm in 1915
Corwith - Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Massion, 64, who died Tuesday at her home following a short illness, were held at her home Thursday in charge of the Rev. Karl W. G. Hiller, pastor of the Methodist church.
Mrs. Massion was born August 14, 1875, in Flannigan, Ill. She was married to Henry D. Massion March 2, 1892. They came to live on their farm northeast of Corwith in 1915, and later moved into Corwith.
She was the mother of three children, two of whom died in infancy. Surviving are a son, Howard B.; three grand daughters, Frances, Doris and Marylin, all of Corwith; two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Massion and Mrs. Rose Smith, and three brothers, Sterry, Dell and Daden Rich, all of Flannigan, Ill.

Services For Aged Corwith Woman Held
Corwith, Oct. 16 - Funeral services were held last week Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Addie Massion, who died Tuesday and who had been a resident of Corwith since 1915. Mrs. Massion, former Addie Bell Rich, was born near Flanagan, Ill., August 14, 1875.
She spent the early part of her life near her birthplace, and March 8, 1894, she and Henry D. Massion were married. They were received into the Christian church at Flanagan, and their membership always remained there.
Mr. and Mrs. Massion farmed during their active lifetimes. They lived near Flanagan till 1915, when they came to their farm east of Corwith, and lived there till 1923, when they moved to the home in Corwith where they had since lived.
Mrs. Massion was industrious, persevering and not easily discouraged.
She had been in poor health for a number of years, and had been ill at home since September 27. Her death was caused by her lung illness followed by pneumonia.
She is survived by her son Howard, his wife, Grace, and three grand daughters, Frances, of Iowa City, Doris, of Des Moines, and Marilyn, at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Elnora Massion, and Mrs. Rose Smith, and three brothers, Sterry, Dell, and Daden, all of Flanagan, Ill., also survive. Her husband died April 28, 1934, and a grandson, Mervin, died May 25, 1926.
Funeral services were held at the home in Corwith Thursday, the Rev. Karl W. G. Hiller, conducting. Music was furnished by Mrs. J. A. Zwiefel and Mrs. Mary Duckett.
Pall Bearers were Russell Riggle, Eric Erickson, R. C. Weller, Leonard Mullins, Clem Hilyard, and Albert Page. Interment was at the Corwith cemetery.
