Lawhorn Dies At Mason City

Former Garner Man Succumbs in Hospital

Clear Lake - Charles Lawhorn, 67, Garner, who has been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Prescott, 301 W. Division street, the past year, died at a Mason City hospital at 3:30 o'clock Friday morning following an illness of 2 weeks.

Mr. Lawhorn is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Orris Lundy, Klemme, and 2 sons, Francis Lawhorn, Garner and Cloyde Lawhorn, Los Angeles, Cal., and 7 grandchildren.

Mrs. Lawhorn died 3 years ago on Jan 12 and is buried at Garner. No arrangements for the funeral of Mr. Lawhorn have been announced. The body is at the Bohn funeral home in Garner and the funeral will be in Garner.
