William H. Larson

Britt - William H. Larson, 84, a retired farmer, died Tuesday at a Mason City hospital. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery with Boughton Funeral Home in charge. The Rosary will be said at the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m. and the family home Thursday at 8 p.m.

Son of Martin and Karen Madsen Larson, he was born Oct. 7, 1879, near Buffalo Grove. He was married April 18, 1911, to Rita Harrington, who died in 1920. He was then married to her sister, Mary, in 1928.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Marie Ray, Chicago; Mrs. Henry (Loretta) Cermaine, Huattsville, Md.; Mrs. Glenn (Charlotte) Madol; Webster City; a son, Capt. W. J. Larson, with American Airlines in Annadale, Va.; seven grandchildren, three sisters and a brother.
