Mrs. D. Johnson dies at Corwith; Rites Tuesday

Corwith - Mrs. David (Dagmar Marie) Johnson,68, died at her farm home near here Saturday following a log illness.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church here, preceded by a prayer service at the family home. The Rev. Louis J. Runion will officiate. Boughton Funeral Home, Britt, is in charge. Burial will be in the Corwith Cemetery.

Born in Denmark, Nov 18, 1892, she was the daughter of Paul and Laura Jacobson Sorenson. She was married in Algona, June 14, 1914. She was a member of the Methodist Church, the WSCS, Order of Eastern Star and Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are her husband, five sons and three daughters, Paul, Milwaukee; Mrs. Lee (Eleanor) Huff, Storm Lake; Mrs. Charpel (Lillian) Hauswirth, Corwith; David Jr., Ted and James, Corwith; Jerry, Canoga Park, Calif.; Mrs. John (Ella) Rathbun, Iowa City; 17 grandchildren, including Robert Steigerwalt who was reared by his grandparents after the death of his mother, Vivian.
