Services for Mrs. Anna Fiala Held at Duncan Church

Britt - Funeral services were held at St. Wenceslaus church at Ducan Saturday morning for Mrs. Anna Fiala, who died Thursday night at 8:30 at the home of her daughter and son-in law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Vonasek, near Duncan. She was born July 26, 1847, in Bohemia.

Requiem mass was said by the Rev. Father Jaroslov Skulacek. Mrs. Fiala came the the United States 72 years ago.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Mulkins, Mrs. Brozik of Garner, Mrs. Joseph Vonasek of Britt, Mrs. Ike Ptacek of Cresco, also by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Interment was at St. John's cemetery at Duncan, with the following grandsons acting as pallbearers: William Malek, Frank Brozik,Clement Malek, Joseph Ptacek, Frank Chizek and Emile Ptacek. Kenneth I. Boughton was in charge of arrangements.
