Retired Farmer Dies Near Britt

Britt - Funeral services for Iver J. Brown, 75, retired farmer, will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Boughton Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church, the Rev. William E. Butler, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Elmer Peterson of Woden. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. He died Monday at his home in Britt after a long illness.

Survivors include the widow, sons Milton of St. Paul, Robert of Kanawha, Richard of Woden, Newell of Britt, Merle of Wesley and Myron of Emery; his step mother, Mrs. Nels Brown of Oakland, Minn.; brothers Matthew of Emmetsburg, Carl of Lindon, Alfred of Mason City, Lawrence of Clear Lake and Gordon of Chattanooga, Tenn., and sisters, Mrs. Perry Bailey of Clear Lake, Mrs. Floyd Stokes of Marshalltown and Mrs. Nels Nielsen, Oakland, Minn.
