Mrs. F. W. Steiff dies at Garner; Rites Wednesday

Garner - Mrs. Fred W. Steiff, 82, died at her home here Sunday following a long illness. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home in charge.

The family has requested any memorials by designated to Florence Prouty, missionary in Santiago, Chile, in care of the Garner Methodist Church.

Edna S. Watson was married at Greene in 1905. She was active in church and civic affairs in Garner.

Surviving are her husband, a son, Harvey, Minneapolis; a daughter, Mrs. J. W. (Evelyn) Schwartz, Ames; five grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Harriet Watson, two brothers, Wallace and Donald Watson, all of Detroit.
