Aged Resident of Garner Dies; Funeral Sunday

Garner - Funeral services for Ferdinand Schipull, 79, will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bohn Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at the Peace Reformed Church in Ell Township, the Rev. Chester Ploeger officiating. Burial in Concord Cemetery. He died suddenly at his home Thursday night.

Mr. Schipull, a retired farmer, was engaged in the implement business in Garner for a number of years with George Watkinson.

Mr. Schipull was born in Germany Dec. 17, 1875, and came to the United States in 1889, settling first at Davenport and then in Humboldt County. He was married March 1, 1899, and the couple lived on a farm near LuVerne until March 1, 1919, when they came to Garner and lived here since.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. M. W. Arnett of Storm Lake and Mrs. Addis Greiman of Garner, a brother, Charles, of Renwick, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
