Mrs. White, 72, Dies at Hancock Memorial, Britt

Garner - Funeral services for Lena Violet White Rasmus, 72, will be held at the Bohn Funeral Home, Garner, at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and at the First Methodist Church at 10, with the Rev. Trevor Baskerville officiating. Burial will be in Concord Township Cemetery at Garner.

Mrs. Rasmus, the wife of Marius Rasmus, died Sunday afternoon at Hancock County Memorial Hospital, Britt.

Born July 2, 1883, at Springfield, Ill., she was the daughter of Ole and Alice White. She was married Aug. 30, 1911.

Mrs. Rasmus is survived by her husband, two sons, Wendell, Kerrville, Tex., and Russell, Victor; a sister, Trena Drake, Elkhart, Ill,; brother, Raymond White, Peoria, and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Bohn Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.
