Mr. B. Kenyon rites Thursday at Garner church

Garner - Mrs. Burton (Irene) Kenyon, 53, died of a long illness Monday at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital, Britt. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church here. The Rev. H. Allen Wirtz will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at the church from 11 a.m. to the time of service.

Born April 2, 1909, at Rake, she was the daughter of Edward and Ann Sampson Helland. She was married at Thompson Nov. 23, 1941.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Ann, and a son, William; her mother at Lake Mills; three sisters, Mrs. Homes (Birdella) Holland, Thompson; Mrs. Lester (Edna) Holland. Lake Mills; Mrs. Gordon (Violet) Hanson, Oakland, Calif.; six brothers, Elmer Helland, Charles City; Silas, Thompson; Herman, Waterloo; Archie, Owatonna, Minn.; Amos and Lester , Rock Falls, Wis.
