Clear Lake - Funeral services for Harold Carl Radloff, 61, rural Garner, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Evangelical Fred Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Harold McGowan, pastor, officiating.

He died Thursday evening (January 25, 1973) at a Mason City hospital after a short illness. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery, Garner. Visitation is at Osthus Funeral Home, Clear Lake, from 2 p.m. Saturday until the time of service.

He was born March 22, 1911, at Elkader, the son of Fred and Minnie (Behrens) Radloff. He attended rural Garner schools. On Sept 11, 1940, he was married to Gertrude Pals at Swaledale.

They farmed at Mason City and in 1947 moved to their present farm east of Garner. He continued farming until 1966 and went to work at the Clear Lake Aluminum Co., while living on the farm.

He is survived by his wife and four daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Marlene) Anderson, Enid, Okla.; Mrs. John (Merikay) Malone, Quebec, Canada; and Barbara and Renae at home; three sisters, Frieda Radloff and Mrs. Ruby Quintus, both of Garner, and Mrs. Victor (Gertie) Meyer, Clear Lake; three brothers, Fred of Lyle, Minn., and Ray and Laurence, both of Garner, along with two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

He was a member of the Evangelical Free Church, Clear Lake.

Pallbearers will be Louis Weiland, Earl Smith, Albert Bird, Clark Lackore, Walter Claude, and Art Hoeft. The organist will be Charles Bergerson and the soloist will be Michael Doonan.

In charge of the flowers will be Mrs. Louis Weiland and Mrs. Herman Krueger. Ushers will be Herb Thornberg and Richard Hill.
