Mrs. H. A. Schaper

Britt - Mrs. Henry A. (Maria) Schaper, 93, died Friday at her home here following a long illness.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30 at the Methodist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with Grupe Funeral Home in charge.

Born April, 5, 1872, at Shamokin, Pa., to William and Florence Boutilier Ward, she was married March 29, 1890, at Britt. They farmed near Britt many years. Her husband died in 1937.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. F. J. Schwab, Britt; Mrs. R. C. Lechelt, Britt; Mrs. Orville Whitney, Kanawha; Mrs. John Klinoff, Waterloo; Mrs. Alvin Hansen, Kanawha; Mrs. Al Driste, Britt; two sons, Howard and Clifford, Britt; a sister Elizabeth Redmond, Chotau, Mont.; two brothers, William Ward, Britt; Henry Ward, Klemme, 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren.
