Rites Held at Britt for Prominent Woman

Britt - Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Pearce, longtime resident of Britt, were held in the Congregational church Tuesday, with the Rev. Herbert G.Kelly of Elkader, former pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. B. A.Rust of Britt. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery with the Boughton funeral service in charge.

Surviving are 2 sons, Lyle of Britt and Glen of Sioux City. Her husband preceded her in death. She was born at Newell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Fowler.

Mrs. Pearce died Thursday at a hospital in Mason City.
