Ernest Olson Funeral Held

Victim of Shooting Buried After Rites at Kanawha, Britt

Kanawha - Funeral services were held for Ernest Olson of Kanawha Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Kanawha with the Rev. C. N. McMillan of Britt in charge. Services were also held at the Boughton funeral home in Britt.

Olson was fatally wounded Friday evening about 11:30 from a shot inflicted with a .22 caliber rifle and died at the Steele hospital at Belmond Saturday morning.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Olson of Britt, two brothers, Olaf of Garner and Bert of Britt and one sister, Mrs. William Wilson of Kanawha.

Special music at the services was furnished by the Methodist choir.
