Aged Resident Dies At Miller

Last Rites Tuesday for Mrs. C. P. Juhl, 71

Garner - Mrs. C. P. Juhl, 71, a longtime resident of the Miller community, died at a hospital in Mason City, Sunday following an operation Saturday.

Funeral services will be held at the Miller Lutheran church Tuesday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Peter Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Ellington cemetery.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: Peter of Miller, Mrs. Raymond White of Peorgia, Ill., Mrs. Allen Hallett of Garner, Merle of Miller, S. Dak., Melvin and Clifford of Forest City, Norman and Kenneth of Garner. There are 27 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Juhl retired from the farm and moved to Miller about 10 years ago. They celebrated their 52 wedding anniversary June 29 this year.

Mrs. Juhl was born in Brons, Denmark, Aug. 22, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Skow. She was the youngest of 13 children and came to the United States when she was 16 years old.
