Last Rites Thursday for Woden Resident

Woden - Funeral services for George Gerdes, 62, will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at St. John's Lutheran church immediately following, the Rev. H. Beyer officiating. Burial will be in the Bingham township cemetery. He died Monday at a hospital in Buffalo Center following a long illness.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Rebecca Gerdes; 5 sisters, Mrs. Louis Nielsen of Princeton, Minn., Mrs. Henry Kleeman of Council Bluffs, Mrs. George T. Gerdes, Mrs. William Gerdes and Hilda Gerdes all of Woden and 5 brothers, Albert, John, Fred and Herman of Woden and Ted of Clear Lake.
