Charles H. Morris Formerly of Britt Died In Illinois

Word was received just before the Leader and Signal goes to press of the death of Charles H. Morris, Cambridge, Ill., on Wednesday, Dec. 5. Mr. Morris was formerly a well known farmer of the Britt community. He moved from there to Illinois about 12 years ago. Death came after a two weeks illness from heart disease.

Deceased was born to William and Lydia Cochran at Cambridge, Ill., Nov. 26, 1868, and was united in marriage in Viola, Ill.

Charles Morris leaves to mourn his death a son, Ray Morris, prominent farmer of Erin township; Grace of Dunell, Minn.; Nellie of Des Moines and five grandchildren. He was a member of the Illinois military guard.

Funeral services will be in charge of the Rev. C. N. MacMillan of the Methodist church at Britt and interment in Evergreen cemetery. The exact time for the funeral had not been set, but those interested may get full particulars from the Boughton Funeral home either later today or Thursday.
