Tina G. Hulme Dies at 77; Rites Tuesday

Woden - Mrs. George (Tina G.) Hulme, 77, died Friday morning at Lake Rest Home, Clear Lake.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church, Woden, preceded by a prayer service for the family at the Boughton Funeral Home, Britt. The Rev. F. W. Shreve will officiate. Burial will be in the Bingham Cemetery, Woden.

Mrs. Hulme was born May 23, 1881, in Ostfriesland, Germany. She came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Heikens, at the age of 1. They settled near Woden. She was married in Feb., 1905 to George Hulme, Woden. They farmed all their married life in this community. Mr. Hulme died in 1938.

Surviving are two children, Edward W., Woden; Mrs. Cecil E. (Lavon) Stewart, Omaha; 12 grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Mrs Thomas Hulme; two sisters, Anna Weaver, Buffalo Center and Sena Brandt, Winnebago, Minn. A son, Thomas, preceded her in death in 1955.
