About 5:00 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Tony Christopherson, aged about 10 years, was killed by being run over with both fore and hind wheels of a wagon containing two tons of brick tile. The first wheel caught him on the shoulder and running diagonally across to the hip. He lived about twenty minutes and was conscious to the last, recognizing his mother when she came to him.

The way it occurred as nearly as we can learn was this. He was driving the team, some of the brick commenced to slip off, he reached around to push them back, lost his balance and fell under the wheel.

He was buried 30 Jun 1899 from the M .E. Church.
