FOREST CITY — Forest City native Harvey F. Gelner, 64, of Des Moines, died Saturday (March 6, 1982) at a Des Moines hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Forest City. Spring burial will be in the Madison Township Cemetery, Forest City.

Visitation will be after noon today at the Petersen Funeral Home, Forest City, and at the church prior to the service.

Mr. Gelner served in the United, States Army during World War II. He graduated from Hamilton Business College in Mason City. He was employed as a bookkeeper and accountant in Mason City and Austin, Minn., before moving to Des Moines.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Leo (Bernice) Dahlhauser, Webster City; Mrs. Emery (Ruth) Brown, Garner, and Mrs. Doris Isaacson, Northwood; two brothers, Leon, Klemme and Donald, Britt, and several nieces and nephews.
