Rex W. Elphic KLEMME

Rex W. Elphic, 81, of Klemme, died Sunday (Oct. 22, 1995) as a result of a two-car accident north of Meservey.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Belmond, with the Rev. Laurence Garrett officiating. Burial, with military rites, will be in the Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Tenold Funeral Home, Belmond.

Rex W. Elphic was born Oct. 17, 1914, at Hampton.

Survivors include his fiance, Shirley Hawver; two daughters, Pam Fliss and Lori Ersland, both of Belmond; sons, Jon Elphic of Belmond, Larry Elphic of Des Moines, and Randy Elphic of Trabuco
Canyon, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and one sister, Marjorie Stonebreaker of Lincoln, Neb.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and three sisters.
