KLEMME - Funeral services for Arnold E. Blau, 65, of Klemme, who died Tuesday (May 21, 1985) from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Britt, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church at Klemme.
The Rev. Herbert Shafer of United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Ell Township Cemetery at Klemme, preceded by graveside military rites.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. today until time of service Friday at Tenold Funeral Home in Klemme.
He was born July 30, 1919 at Alexander, son of John J. and Sophie Stoffer Blau. On June 26, 1941, he married Viola Schwichtenberg.
He worked for 37 years as service manager for Pontiac dealers in the Garner area. A veteran of World War II, he served in the-Sixth Army, 414 Combat Engineers. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 5519 in Garner.
He is survived by his wife, Viola, of Klemme; three daughters, Mrs. Ted (Sharon) Ludwig, of Perry; Mrs. Lyle (Nancy) Waddingham of Klemme, and Mrs. Glen (Peggy) Van Blaricom of Howe, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Ann Armstrong, of Ames;two brothers, Walter Blau of Alexander, and Virgil Blau of Ames, and eight grandsons.
